It is my great pleasure to host my 4th annual Holiday Drive & Drop event for The Sun Santa Fund.
Once again, Congresswoman Lori Trahan joins in our efforts. We are honored and very grateful for her participation.
I cannot think of a better way to end my tenure as Mayor of the City of Lowell than to help families in need to provide food on the table and presents for children during this festive and familial time of year.
Last year, the Sun Santa Program provided:
- 1400 Families with assistance
- 3200 Children receiving toys.
- $65,200 in food vouchers
- $81,000 in toy vouchers
I cannot stress this enough: no amount is too small, every donation and contribution counts. We encourage everyone to contribute whatever it is they can.
Please bring a new, unwrapped toy and/or a check for The Sun Santa Fund.
This year’s Drive & Drop will be located at the Morey Elementary School, 130 Pine St., Lowell, Saturday, December 16th from Noon to 2 p.m.
