Lowell Youth Baseball Teams Triumph: Four Squads Advance to State Tournament

As the summer sun casts its warm glow over the Mill City, Lowell Baseball is heating up. Not one but four teams (8U, 9U, 11U, and 12U) have clinched the title of District Champs and are heading to States!

As a mother, watching my child don the Lowell jersey, glove in hand, and heart brimming with excitement has been an indescribable joy (shoutout to Landry 8U #25). I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride. Our children have grown, not just as athletes, but as individuals who understand the value of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Baseball has proven to be more than just a game for our kids — it’s a cornerstone of growth, camaraderie, and lifelong memories.

This experience, however, wouldn’t be possible without the tireless efforts of the coaches, board of directors, parents and the dedicated City of Lowell staff.

First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the coaches. These dedicated individuals have spent countless hours on the field, teaching our children the fundamentals of baseball. More importantly, they have imparted life lessons that will stay with our kids long after the season ends. Their patience, encouragement, and unwavering support have been the backbone of our children’s development.

A special shout out goes to the Lowell Youth Baseball and Softball League board of directors. Your hard work behind the scenes has not gone unnoticed. The meticulous planning and dedication required to run such a seamless operation are truly commendable.

To the parents, thank you for your endless support, whether it’s cheering from the stands, carpooling, running the concession stands, or volunteering in other ways. Your involvement is the foundation of this community, and your enthusiasm fuels our children’s passion for the game.

Thank you to the City of Lowell for maintaining our baseball fields. Your efforts in keeping the fields in excellent condition have provided a safe and enjoyable environment for our children to play. The lush green grass, well-marked lines, and clean facilities have made each game day a joy for players and families alike. Your support has played a crucial role in the success of this season.

So here’s to the coaches, the board of directors, and all the amazing teams! Congratulations to all the teams who have made it to the state tournament! This achievement is a testament to your hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of your coaches and families. Watching our children excel and reach this level of competition fills us with immense pride. You’ve shown that with determination and teamwork, anything is possible.
