After a challenging day dealing with disruptions, all Market Basket stores were back to full operation as of last evening. The company released the following statement at 6pm:
“The Market Basket Team has been working throughout the day to successfully resolve the service disruption caused by a third-party vendor. The majority of our stores are now fully operational and we expect the remaining stores to be online by 6:00 p.m. this evening. We want to apologize to our valued customers for any inconvenience and express our appreciation for their patience as we have addressed the situation today.”
Shortly thereafter, at 6:39pm, they sent this update:
“All Market Basket stores are now fully operational. We again apologize to our valued customers for the inconvenience and express our appreciation for their patience as worked through this situation today.”
