As part of Westford’s transition to the Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) program, cart deliveries began today, June 8, and are expected to continue for approximately two weeks.
Delivery crews will be working Monday through Saturday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Residents do not need to be home to receive their cart. Carts will be placed at the driveway apron on one side of the driveway.

Westford’s PAYT program officially gets underway on July 6, 2026, as part of the Town’s Comprehensive Waste Reduction Plan.
