State Senator Vanna Howard (D-Lowell) celebrated Susu Wong on June 18, 2026, with an inaugural Commonwealth Pride Award, a newly-founded annual event that celebrates the rich accomplishments and talents of Massachusetts’ LGBTQ+ community.
Wong is the founder and CEO of the digital marketing agency Tomo360, based in Lowell, which started in 2012. The company is a trusted partner for businesses, nonprofits, higher education institutions, and government agencies.
Throughout her career, she has honed her skills across various industries including high-tech, healthcare, biotech, higher education, and startups. This has strengthened her marketing approach and has instilled confidence in her ability to adapt and excel in any sector.
“Through her bold advocacy, sharp business acumen, and tireless volunteerism, Susu Wong has become a transformative force in the Commonwealth. She is a true catalyst for change, lifting countless individuals across female, AAPI, and LGBTQ+ communities,” said Senator Vanna Howard (D-Lowell). “As we celebrate the extraordinary impact of LGBTQ+ leaders across our Commonwealth and our country, I am deeply honored to nominate Susu as an inaugural Commonwealth Pride Award recipient. My sincere thanks go to the Massachusetts LGBTQ+ Legislative Caucus and all who made this moment a reality.”
In addition to her work in the private sector, Wong is an active member of the community and dedicates her time volunteering for multiple organizations locally and across the Commonwealth.
She is the co-founder of Women Accelerators, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping early-stage women professionals advance their careers through education, mentorship, and leadership training.

I’m especially grateful to Senator Howard for her leadership and unwavering commitment to our communities. This honor belongs to everyone working to build a more inclusive and equitable Commonwealth.”
The award is the latest recognition for Wong’s leadership which includes a 2025 selection by the Boston LGBTQ+ Museum as one of its Portraits of Pride in the museum’s annual public art exhibition honoring LGBTQ+ leaders.
This year, Embrace Boston presented her and her spouse, UMass Lowell Chanceller Julie Chen, with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Corretta Scott King Award for their distinguished service and visionary leadership.
